How We Test & Review Products
Our five-dimension review framework: review theme analysis, cost-per-use, ingredient tables, rating distributions, and fit assessment.
The Five-Dimension Framework
Every product on this site is evaluated against five consistent dimensions:
Review Theme Analysis
We cluster verified buyer reviews by theme (texture, scent, moisture, etc.) and weight each theme by mention frequency and sentiment.
Cost-Per-Use
We calculate the effective cost per use based on product size, typical application amount, and claimed longevity.
Ingredient Tables
We extract and present key ingredients from official product specs, noting concentrations where available.
Rating Distributions
We analyze the full rating distribution (1-5 stars) to identify consistent patterns, not just averages.
Fit Assessment
We match products to specific hair types, concerns, and routines based on reviewer-reported outcomes.
Our Data Pipeline
- Scrape: We pull live Amazon listing data for price, ratings, and review counts.
- Tag: We label each review by theme and sentiment using consistent criteria.
- Score: We build data cards that quantify each dimension for every product.
- Write: We generate review pages that present the data as decision tools, not recommendations.
Honesty Boundaries
We do not conduct lab tests. We do not claim to have "tested" products in the traditional sense. We only present publicly available data and let you draw your own conclusions.
If a product has fewer than 50 reviews, we do not write an independent review — the sample is too small to mine meaningful signals.
How often do you update product data?
We refresh official parameters every 6 months and check for new reviews every 3 months. If data is older than 6 months, we mark the page as 'pending update'.
Do you accept free products?
No. We do not accept free products or compensation from brands. All data comes from publicly available Amazon listings and reviews.
How do you handle conflicting reviews?
We present both sides using the '矛盾共识裁决表' format. Supporters' quotes and opponents' quotes are shown side-by-side, and you make the call based on your situation.
